Paul di Franco has been promoted to prexy of worldwide music operations at Roger Corman’s New Horizons/Concorde Pictures.

Di Franco had been VP music. In his new post, he will be in charge of New Horizon/Concorde’s worldwide music publishing companies and will acquire talent forthe independent production company‘s films.

A 25-year veteran of the music industry, di Franco started at CBS in record production, later moving to RCA. His credits include records by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, the Earls and Reunion. He also worked in independent music publishing.

Di Franco said Corman has given him a mandate to develop music-oriented films. Currently in development at the company are “Summertime City,””B-a-a-a-d Rap,” and “Ravin.’ “
