Wooten/Cherry ink 2-yr. deal at Twentieth TV

Twentieth TV has signed the writer-producer team of Jamie Wooten and Marc Cherry to an exclusive two-year overall development deal, marking the first such deal inked under the new management team of prez Steve Bell and production chief Peter Roth.

Wooten and Cherry currently are supervising producers on the Disney series “Golden Palace” and will exit those slots in February 1993 to begin their Twentieth pact. The pair bring with them a pilot commitment from CBS, currently being developed under the title “Family Reunion.”

The duo spent three years as writer-producers on “The Golden Girls.”
