Another Paramount syndie exec has flown the coop to Twentieth TV.
Steven Nalevansky has been named senior VP of programming at the Fox domestic TV unit after ankling his post as senior veepee of creative affairs for Par Domestic TV.
He will remain at Par until January.
Nalevansky will join programming vice president Alan Baker to develop and produce the upcoming “Chevy Chase Show” for Fox Broadcasting Co. and “The Bertice Berry Show” for firstrun syndication.
The two exex, who will also oversee such programming entries as “A Current Affair” and “Studs,” once worked together at Par, noted Peter Marino, exec VP of programming for Twentieth.
Nalevansky has been responsible at Par for developing firstrun programming, telepix, basic cable and international co-productions for Paramount/Revcom. He also supervises the syndicator’s “The Arsenio Hall Show” and “Sightings,” which appears on the Fox weblet.
Former Par syndie head Lucie Salhany has brought over a number of exex from her old studio since she became chairwoman of Twentieth TV in the summer of 1991 . Twentieth also has named Dan Menzel as an account exec for the Southeastern division. Menzel, who will be based in Atlanta, most recently served as Southeast sales manager for ITC Entertainment.
