NBC has picked up four more episodes of the Malcolm-Jamal Warner series “Here and Now,” bringing the total number of installments for the season up to 17. NBC Prods. series is exec produced by Bill Cosby.

Viacom says “The Montel Williams Show” is a firm “go” for the 1993-94 season based on station renewals. The one-hour talk strip is seen in 110 markets covering 85% of the U.S.

“Graffiti Blues,” a rap opera musical play, will be presented by the Arts & Education Organization at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday and Saturday. Showtime is 8 p.m. with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday.

The Writers Guild of America West will hold a reception Monday at 7 p.m. at Guild HQ to bring writers and producers together. The Producer Access Program is designed to introduce producers and creative exex to new writers. WGAW invites producers of features and telefilms to take part.
