‘Annie’ sequel bucks up legit B.O.

“Annie Warbucks” danced into town and helped pick up the legit box office, which tuned in with $ 1,046,201 for five shows, up from earlier week’s $ 969,489 .

The redheaded moppet had a slow opening week, with $ 148,618 in coin.

Show’s weekly potential will be $ 787,495. Run dates are Oct. 28-Nov. 22. Top ducat is $ 40 in the 2,700-seat house.

“The World Goes Round” continues to do mediocre business at the Henry Fonda, with $ 105,379 in fourth week, an $ 8,800 upswing.

“Six Degrees of Separation” wavered in third week at the Doolittle, falling from last week’s $ 196,065 to $ 193,195.

“Forever Plaid” continues a recent downturn with $ 55,351 in coffers, down $ 8,300 from last week. It just passed its 33rd week at the Canon.

“Phantom of the Opera” also is on a slide, down to $ 543,658 in 178th week at the Ahmanson. Earlier week’s outing was $ 613,189.
