Weekend promo

Letter to the Editor

I READ WITH incredulity Andy Marx’s article which concerned, among other things, the amount of time Brandon Tartikoff spent publicizing his book.

If only Paramount officials had reason to go “berserk.” In fact, Brandon confined his publicity schedule to weekends only–with the exception of one-half day in New York and one-half day in Washington. If anyone was going berserk, I was.

Nevertheless, “The Last Great Ride” is No. 7 on the Los Angeles Times best-seller list and is beginning to make appearances on other best-seller lists throughout the country.
