The National Assn. of Television Program Executives has revised earlier gloomy attendance estimates. Despite the outbreak of war and the recession, NATPE reports the conference achieved record attendance levels, with the final tally up 4% to 8,915 (versus 8,574 a year ago). The number of domestic attendees rose nearly 2% this year to 7,646 (compared to 7,498 in ’90), while international participation jumped 18% to 1,269 (from 1,076 a year earlier).
