‘Letterman’ On A& E

The Arts & Entertainment Network has acquired the rights to air repeats of NBC’s “Late Night With David Letterman,” marking what is believed to be the first time a current net strip has been offered elsewhere while remaining on the web.

“I could make a Top 10 list of why ‘Late Night’ will be successful on A& E,” quipped John Agoglia, NBC Enterprises prez. “Letterman fans will now get a second chance to enjoy David’s best work.” NBC is a part owner of A& E with Capital Cities/ABC and Hearst Corp.
