Former MGM/UA Communications exec v.p. Richard Cignarelli has sued the company, claiming he was fired without just cause and was not paid amounts due under his contract.
Cignarelli, in a complaint filed in L.A. Superior Court, said he was fired in November after being told the job was eliminated. He says he’s owed more than $250,000 for, among other things, the remainder of his salary and stock options. An MGM/UA spokesman said the company had no comment.
