CBS has given a pilot order to “I Confess,” a half-hour reality concept from Lorimar TV.
The project will be exec produced by former Lorimar TV chief David Salzman and Mark B. von S. Monsky as a Telepictures and David Salzman Entertainment production in association with Lorimar.
Both Salzman and Monsky have deals to develop programming through Time Warner Inc., with former “Hard Copy” exec producer Monsky focusing on reality programs. Salzman’s indie company, originally announced under the name Millennium, has since been renamed.
The show’s format will feature real people confessing to a variety of things, from the serious (such as crimes) to more lighthearted foibles.
