Joe Jackson Jr.

Joe Jackson Jr., 78, pantomime comedian with the Ice Capades, died Jan. 10.

The son of vaudevillian Joe Jackson, he starred in the ice show from 1940 to 1966, touring the U.S. and Canada. Jackson also was a featured principal with Holiday on Ice Europe and with Sonja Henie at Center Theater.

Though he retired in 1986, Jackson continued to perform for charity organizations in his local community of Lake Luzerne, N.Y.

Survived by his wife, a daughter and a granddaughter.
