Grampy Davis

Patrick (Grampy) Davis, 87, a film and tv actor, died Nov. 8 in Upland, Calif., of a heart attack.

He acted in more than 40 films and appeared on tv shows such as “Father Murphy” and “Taxi.”

His film credits included “They Were Expendable” and “Back To Bataan,” both starring John Wayne, and “Eternally Yours,” “Air Mail,” “The Whole World Is Watching,” “Lost And Found” and “The Supernatural.” On stage, Davis acted in more than 15 plays in the Los Angeles area. He also appeared in various tv commercials.

Survived by his wife, Marie; three daughters; two sisters; and five grandchildren.
