Korn/Ferry Intl. – the world’s leading management consulting firm and the entertainment industry’s No. 1 executive headhunter – has named British tv veteran Tim Vignoles director of its worldwide entertainment division.
Vignoles, who will be based in London, has worked at Zenith Prods., the Creative Concern Ltd., TCC Prods., Columbia Pictures TV, Coca-Cola TV, Columbia Pictures, RCA-Columbia Video and MCA TV. He will report to Korn/Ferry U.K. managing partner John Stork.
Stephen Unger, co-managing director of the division, said 60% of the division’s business is generated through international entertainment clients, compared with 10% two years ago. Since the appointment of Unger and partner William Simon 2 1/2 years ago, showbiz exec searches have risen from 10% of the company’s business to more than 55%. The division, which annually bills over $100 million, is the company’s fastest growing sector.
Korn/Ferry was founded in 1969 by Lester Korn and Richard Ferry. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the company has 43 offices worldwide.
