Court OKs MCEG, GE Deal

As expected, Federal Bankruptcy Court last week gave the official nod to the amended compromise and settlement among Management Co. Entertainment Group, its chief lender, General Electric Capital Corp. and related parties.

Documents basically reflected what GECC and MCEG agreed on at a Jan. 15 hearing. Minor changes – suggested by the creditors’ committee and individual creditors – were incorporated to protect selected creditors’ interests.
