Sony Music Signs West Coast Lease

Sony Music Entertainment and Lowe Enterprises have agreed on a 10-year lease for the diskery’s new west coast headquarters, effective September 1992.

Sony expects to consolidate more than 200 employees into the three-building campus known as the Santa Monica Arboretum, developed by Lowe. The Sony campus is the first phase of the Arboretum project and will house the Columbia, Epic and Epic Associated labels, Sony Music Intl., Sony Music Publishing, a recording studio, performance space and indoor/outdoor dining areas.

The Arboretum is an office, hotel and retail complex occupying about 13 acres in Santa Monica.
