The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, composed of Williamson Music (ASCAP) and R&H Music (BMI), will take over exclusive U.S. and Canadian administration for the Elvis Presley music catalogs Jan. 1, per Williamson Music/R&H Music prez Maxyne Lang.

The company also will oversee the catalogs’ administration worldwide. Deal was hammered out between R&H and the co-owners of the Presley catalogs, including the Presley estate, Gary Hovey and Julian and Jean Aberbach. Current administrator Warner/Chappell will continue administration through 1991.
