No Face Censors Rappers’ Debut

The debut album of rappers Bytches With Problems will appear in a “censored” version, despite misgivings on the part of the group and its label.

Rappers had threatened a breach of contract suit after exex at Rush Associated Labels had deleted several lines on the demo for their debut album, “B.Y.T.C.H.E.S.,” scheduled for a mid-February release on No Face Records, an affiliate of RAL/Def Jam.

No Face president Mark Sexx says the costs of mounting a suit and the “politics” of the situation simply made any struggle over the lyric content an unacceptable sacrifice.
