Concrete Partners Dissolve Team

Concrete Management Inc. prexy Walter O’Brien and Concrete Marketing Inc. prexy Bob Chiappardi have dissolved their six-year partnership, leaving sole ownership of the two components in the hands of their respective toppers. Prior to the breakup, each owned 50% of each company.

Along with the marketing concern, Chiappardi retains Foundations Magazine, a biweekly hard rock and metal trade publication; Foundations Forum, the annual hard rock/heavy metal convention held in Los Angeles; and Retailvision, distributor of promo video compilations.

O’Brien retains the management half and all interest in its roster, including Pantera, No Sweat and Metal Church. Concrete Management also formed Piranha Bros. Music Publishing, a worldwide co-venture with Virgin Music.

They called the split amicable.
