One Danish supplier, indie Baron Films, sums up the Danish sales effort at the American Film Market.
Among the suppliers missing out on AFM are Nordisk Film tv distrib and exporter, which was present at Berlin earlier this month. Per Hoist Film (“Pelle The Conqueror”) skips AFM in favor of Cannes.

Successful Scanbox Denmark is the owner of homevid distribbery A.B. Collection, and founder/owner of Hollywood-based studio Imperial Entertainment Corp.
However, Imperial technically counts as an American company and thus can’t be numbered among the Danish supplier’s.
This leaves the field for fledgling producer/director Baron Films. The company is owned by Vejgaard Mobel og Tappehus, a furniture shop that entered the pic biz in a rather roundabout way by supplying furniture for film sets.
