Oz ‘Oz’ Sells Out

The Victorian Art Center/Victoria State Opera’s production of “The Wizard Of Oz” is looking at a sellout season.

Exec producer Sue Nattrass says the $A3 million ($2.34 million) production, which opened Jan. 3 in Melbourne, is grossing more than $A500,000 ($390,000) a week. Extra matinees have been skedded for the show, which runs to Feb. 16 and is directed by American director Philip Cusack.
