‘Scenes’ To Preem At Stamford Palace

Paul Mazursky’s new film, “Scenes From A Mall,” will be screened at a gala benefit premiere at Stamford’s Palace Theater Feb. 16. The film is scheduled to open nationally Feb. 22.

Starring Bette Midler and Woody Allen, “Scenes” was shot largely at a Stamford mall, the Stamford Town Center, last summer. Numerous locals were used as extras. The premiere, with tickets at $50, will benefit the Stamford Center for the Arts, which owns the Palace Theater, the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut and Save the Children.
