MK2 To Distribute Fansten’s ‘Heart’

Director Jacques Fansten’s new French feature, “Cross My Heart,” has been acquired for U.S. distribution by MK2 Prods. USA, to bow this spring.

Shown at the Montreal, Toronto and Sarasota film fests, pic toplines Sylvain Copans as a youngster reacting to the sudden death of his mother. MK2 also is prepping the domestic launch of Pavel Lounguine’s Soviet-French co-production, “Taxi Blues,” which represents the USSR in this year’s foreign-language film Oscar race.
