MGM/Pathe Raises Price With ‘Warrant’

MGM/Pathe Home Video has raised its price on lead titles to $92.98, beginning with its Feb. 27 release of “Death Warrant.” A source there said most lead titles in coming month will be comparably priced. MGM/UA Home Video (MGM/Pathe’s predecessor) had held the line at $89.95 while all the other studios raised their prices.

Indie Live Home Video will join MGM/Pathe when it releases “Air America” and “Narrow Margin” at $92.95 in February and March, respectively. The only other independents to use the higher price have been HBO Video and Vidmark.
