The seventh Boston Film Festival will expand from eight to 11 days this fall. Loews Theaters operates the fest, which will run Sept. 9 to 19.

Loews has appointed an advisory board to aid in programming the fest. Among those named are critic and WBZ-AM talkshow host David Brudnoy, Museum of Fine Arts film curator Bo Smith, Boston U. film prof Raymond Carney and Boston Phoenix editor Peter Kadzis.
