Kit Parker, WB Ink Reissue Deal

Kit Parker Films, a specialist in the video and non-theatrical market, has pacted with Warner Bros, for 35m reissue rights to the studio’s classic films. The deal also includes selected films from the Allied Artists library, which was purchased by Lorimar Entertainment and inherited by WB in its 1988 merger with Lorimar.

First reissue will be a James Dean double feature of Nicholas Ray’s “Rebel Without A Cause” and Elia Kazan’s “East Of Eden,” both Cinemascope titles. Also on the bill will be Dean’s screen test and rare footage of wardrobe tests for the two WB titles.
