Los Angeles Superior Court judge last week overruled a motion by Universal Studios, Amblin Entertainment and U-Drive Prods, that challenged a suit filed three months ago by actor Crispin Glover against the makers of the “Back To The Future” sequels.

Judge Philip M. Saeta deemed the Oct. 16 suit – which alleges the defendants refused to compensate Glover after hiring another actor to imitate his voice and likeness in the pics – legally sufficient and ordered the defendants to answer allegations by Feb. 18. Glover maintains he is owed at least $1 million. A trial date has not yet been set.
