Hollywood Pictures has paid $750,000 to screenwriters Bob Tzudiker and Noni White for their spec script “Mrs. Faust,” a romantic comedy reportedly intended to star Goldie Hawn. Deal included a $175,000 blind script agreement for a future property.

Larry Mark will produce “Mrs. Faust,” about a woman from a Midwestern town who’s faced with the dilemma of whether to sell her soul to the devil to improve the lives of her family and friends. The script deal includes $500,000 upfront cash and an additional $250,000 if the writers wind up with sole screenplay credit. Tzudiker and White have an existing relationship with Disney, having scripted Touchstone’s upcoming production “Newsies.”
