DIC Aims For Homevid Growth

DIC Enterprises’ homevideo division reports that it has generated revenues of $2 million in its first six months of operation. The $2 million figure represents monies earned by a number of new DIC distributors and revenues from premium promotions.

Under the stewardship of Anne Lieberman, homevideo veep since July, the division is looking toward targeted expansion this year. Lieberman said she is seeking other distribution deals and further exploitation of ancillary markets such as supermarket premiums and corporate tie-ins.
