Peacemaker is an unexpected gem, a sci-fi action thriller that really delivers the goods despite an apparent low budget.

Inventive plot is a tale of two humanoid aliens (Robert Forster and Lance Edwards) who crash-land on Earth. One is an intergalactic serial killer, the other a police officer, or peacemaker. A simple set-up, except for one complication: both claim to be the cop.

Both aliens attempt to enlist the aid of assistant medical examiner Hilary Shepard, hoping she can help them find the key to the one functional space rover that survived their crash landing.

Peacemaker is a stunt extravaganza, a nonstop, fast-paced assemblage of chases, shootouts and explosions building to an impressive climax. Pic has a big-budget look throughout.
