A bizarre plot involving the Ninja cult of Oriental assassins with international terrorism provides plenty of chances for Chuck Norris and other martial arts experts to do their stuff, and pic has a nicely stylized look with excellent lensing and music.

Screenwriter Leigh Chapman, working from a story she wrote with Paul Aaron, weaves a wildly incredible but entertaining tale of retired martial arts champ Norris being recruited by wealthy Karen Carlson to rub out the terrorists who have earmarked her for death. Norris gets involved when he realizes his nemesis is Tadashi Yamashita, his sworn enemy from their youthful days as chopsocky pupils.

The vendetta culminates in a pitched battle at the octagonal training compound of the Ninja cult, a school for terrorists of all types.
